We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your move. Therefore, we have developed a comprehensive refund policy that is designed to protect your interests and provide you with peace of mind. Cancellations If you need to cancel your move for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible. We will provide a full refund of your deposit if the cancellation is made at least seven days prior to your scheduled move date. If you cancel within seven days of your move, we will retain your deposit to cover the costs we have incurred in preparing for your move. Rescheduling If you need to reschedule your move, please notify us as soon as possible. We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If you reschedule your move at least seven days prior to your scheduled move date, we will transfer your deposit to the new date. If you reschedule within seven days of your move, we will retain your deposit to cover the costs we have incurred in preparing for your move. No-shows If you fail to show up for your scheduled move without providing prior notice, we will retain your deposit to cover the costs we have incurred in preparing for your move. Damage Claims At MoversDot, we take great care to ensure that your belongings are moved safely and securely. However, in the unlikely event that any of your items are damaged during the move, we will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly and efficiently as possible. To file a damage claim, please notify us within 48 hours of your move. We will send a claims adjuster to assess the damage and determine the appropriate course of action. If the damage was caused by our negligence, we will either repair or replace the item or provide you with compensation equal to the value of the item.
